Pickup begins between 08:00 – 09:00 for morning sessions, 14:00 – 15:00 for afternoon sessions, and 15:30 – 16:00 for sunset sessions from your Dubai hotel, residence, or airport.

Night buggy rides (18:00 – 22:00) are available on request — the Lahbab dunes take on a dramatic atmosphere after dark under floodlights.

Exact pickup time and driver contact details are confirmed via WhatsApp the evening before your tour.

The drive from Dubai to the Lahbab Red Dunes desert base takes approximately 45–60 minutes depending on your hotel location.

Private pickup is available — your vehicle goes directly to you without collecting other guests.

Pickup from Sharjah, Ajman, and Abu Dhabi is available at an additional surcharge — please mention your location at booking.

Return time depends on your chosen ride duration: approximately 3–4 hours total for a 1-hour ride (including travel and briefing).

After the ride, guests are welcome to relax at the desert base camp with refreshments before the return drive.

Your driver returns you directly to your hotel, Dubai Airport, cruise terminal, or any agreed Dubai address.

For sunset sessions, guests are typically returned between 20:30 – 21:30 after the ride and refreshment break.

Morning session guests are back at their hotels by approximately 12:30–13:00 — leaving the rest of the day completely free.

Minimum age for solo driving: 16 years with a valid driving licence or UAE/international learner's permit. Guests aged 8–15 may ride as passengers in a 2-seater or 4-seater buggy with an adult driver.

No prior off-road driving experience is required — the pre-ride safety briefing covers all controls, hand signals, emergency stop, and dune technique. Our guides are trained to match the ride intensity to your confidence level.

Not recommended for pregnant women, guests with serious back, neck, or spinal injuries, or those with heart conditions.

All safety equipment is mandatory and provided at no extra charge: full-face helmet, neck brace, goggles, gloves, and a chest guard.

All buggies are fuelled, maintained, and inspected before every session — we use latest 2026-model Can-Am Maverick and Polaris RZR vehicles.

Dress code for buggy riding: long-sleeved top, long trousers, and closed-toe shoes (trainers or boots) are strongly recommended for protection. No shorts or flip-flops permitted during the ride.

Bring sunscreen (SPF 50+) and sunglasses to wear under your goggles — the desert sun and windblown sand are intense.

GoPro cameras are available to mount on your buggy for an additional charge — highly recommended for capturing your ride footage.

The ride route covers open desert corridors, dune crests, and valley runs. Your guide sets the convoy pace but you control your own buggy throughout.

Camel rides, sandboarding, and henna art are available at the desert base camp as optional add-ons.

Chilled water, Arabic coffee, and light refreshments are provided at the base camp before and after the ride. Full BBQ dinner combos are available — please mention at booking.

Photography by your guide is available during scenic stops — your guide will capture group shots and action moments on request.

All bookings are confirmed within 2 hours of successful payment, subject to availability.

All drivers must attend the mandatory safety briefing before the buggy session begins — no exceptions.

Drivers aged 16–18 must present a valid driving licence or proof of age at the base camp — bookings without this documentation will not be permitted to self-drive.

Bonvoy Tourism and its partners reserve the right to reduce speed, modify routes, or halt the buggy session at any time based on weather, dune conditions, or guest safety.

Guests must follow all guide instructions during the convoy — overtaking the convoy leader is strictly prohibited.

No refund is issued for partly utilized services — including early departure from the dunes, declining activities, or not completing the full ride duration.

Bonvoy Tourism is not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, vehicle breakdown, or guests not ready at the confirmed pickup time.

All buggy guests participate in the activity entirely at their own risk. Personal travel insurance is strongly recommended.

Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the buggy vehicle due to reckless or unsafe driving behaviour.

Children under 8 years of age are not permitted on the buggies in any capacity.
